Ollie the Owl
Meet Ollie. She's an owl. This year, Ollie is the interim chair of the math department at her old alma mater, which she feels must mean that they are about to offer her tenure even though in the back of her head she knows that that is not at all how this works. Ollie is also one of the original founding members of her local Owl Parliament, and the first in her neighborhood to learn how to change her background on those Zoom calls - which she loves by the way, because Ollie feels like she's the host of her very own television series called Ollie Teaches Math. She's about to start filming season three, uh, the third semester of school, and is feeling on top of the world, these days.
This is an 11"x14" vertical painting made with acrylic paint, chalk pastels, paint pens, glitter and other fun art goodies, on 140lb watercolor paper*.
